Dear Renato,

Thank you for your response. The user did bookmark the URL to the login
page from the original invitation, but that was somehow not always
working, as she got this error:

So is this a problem that SWITCH is going to resolve? Are other users
experiencing this problem?

Many thanks and kind regards,
Suzanne

logging into SWITCH

Dear Suzanne

I am sorry that you have such a hard time with using SWITCHtoolbox.

What happened was, that somehow they Login Session timed out but
SWITCHtoolbox
still had some Login Information. When that happens, best would be to
close the
Browser completely and restart it.

The Message "You are already a member of the group" appears when the
invitation
link is clicked a second time. Best is to bookmark the URL
https://toolbox.switch.ch/<groupname> (or without groupname if you are in
more
groups).

Best regards

- Renato

Dear SWITCH support,

I would like to report some problems logging into the SWITCH Toolbox. In
the end the user can access the platform, but it is time-consuming to
always run into the same problems, so if we can figure out why this is
happening and how to avoid this, it would be helpful!

Problem logging into SWITCH 02.Jul.2015
1) 02.Jul.15 Internal (unibas) user received an email invitation from
SWITCH Toolbox and logged once without a problem. At time of login, she
checked the “Remember selection for this web browser session” box. She
made a shortcut link to the login page. She was able to access the
platform and then logged out again and closed the tab in the browser.
The
second time she wanted to login, she clicked the shortcut link to access
the page, but she received this error page:

Today, 03.Jul.15, the first time she clicked the shortcut link this page
appeared:

She clicked on “continue”, but then this page appears and she is not
able
to access the group:

We continued to click “continue” and nothing happened.
Then she went back and clicked on the original link in the email and
then
was back in the group, but with an Error message: You are already a
member
of the group. She did not need to enter her email and password again.

Kind regards,
Suzanne
